The Washington Redskins are playing their 3rd preseason game tonight.

Most teams try to get their starters plenty of work in game 3. However, Robert Griffin III will not play in tonight's game due to a concern over concussion-like symptoms.

Griffin was injured in the team's August 20th game against Detroit. Griffin did practice all week in preparation for tonight's game. On Friday, the team released a statement on Twitter.

"further review by neuropsychologists" determined he should be kept out of competition and re-tested in one to two weeks.

Backup, Kirk Cousins, is likely to start for the Redskins tonight against the Baltimore Ravens. Some outlets are reporting that Cousins will be the starter in week one NFL action.
