UNDATED (AP) — The New York Rangers have earned the right to take on the Pittsburgh Penguins in the NHL's Eastern Conference semifinals.

The Rangers are 6-0 in Game 7s at Madison Square Garden after Daniel Carcillo and Benoit Pouliot (BEHN'-wah POO'-lee-oh) scored in the second period of a 2-1 victory over Philadelphia. Henrik Lundqvist stopped 26 shots and blanked the Flyers until Jason Akeson scored with 15 ½ minutes left.

In last night's other two Game 7's:

— Minnesota rallied for a 5-4 overtime victory to win at Colorado. Nino Niederreiter (NEE'-noh nee-dur-RY'-tur) scored at 5:02 of overtime to give the Wild the victory. The Wild move on to take on the defending Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks.

— The L.A. Kings outscored San Jose 5-1 to advance to an all-Southern California second round. The Kings are the fourth team to come back from a 3-0 deficit to win a seven-game series. The Kings move on to play the Anaheim Ducks next.

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — The New Jersey Devils say leading-scorer Jaromir Jagr (YAR'-oh-meer YAH'-ger) has signed a new contract, but no terms have been released. The 42-year-old topped the Devils last season with 24 goals and 43 assists.

A two-time winner of the Stanley Cup when he played for the Pittsburgh Penguins, Jagr begins next season with 705 goals and 1,050 assists, tied for sixth all-time among NHL scorers.

NEW YORK (AP) — The New Jersey Devils' Jaromir Jagr (YAR'-oh-meer YAH'-ger), Carolina Hurricanes' Manny Malhotra (mal-HOH'-trah) and New York Rangers' Dominic Moore are the finalists for the Masterton Trophy. The award goes to the player who "best exemplifies the qualities of perseverance, sportsmanship and dedication to hockey."

The 42-year-old Jagr led the Devils with 67 points this season instead of retiring. Malhotra has resumed a career that was put in doubt because of an eye injury. Moore came back to the NHL this season after taking a leave to care for his wife, who had liver cancer and died last year.
