The Wyoming Cowgirls will host Oklahoma State tonight in the second round of the Women's NIT. Both teams posted wins last Wednesday night.

The Wyoming Cowgirls (23-8) defeated Portland State 79-44 and the Oklahoma State Cowgirls (17-14) beat Pepperdine 81-74. Oklahoma State will be without their leading scorer Toni Young, who suffered a season ending arm injury while practing on Friday. Young was hurt following a two-handed dunk. Young had a career-high 34 points in last weeks win over Pepperdine. Tonight's game is at 7:00 pm with the pregame show at 6:30 on AM 1030 KTWO. A couple of other basketball notes, BYU remains in the WNIT with a couple of wins over Denver 75-60 and Utah State 102-63. And the Western Wyoming men's basketball team finished seventh in the National Junior College Tournament in Hutchinson Kansas. They defeated Cape Fear College 83-69 on Saturday.
