Just in time for Memorial Day, here's some great news about the way we treat our military veterans here in Wyoming. According to a new study from the financial website Wallet Hub, Wyoming is the best state in the nation for Military retirees.

The study, 2015's Best and Worst States for Military Retirees, analyzed a variety factors facing veterans, including job opportunities, VA health care facilities, VA benefits administration facilities, housing and the number of veteran owned businesses.

Wyoming ranks fourth for access to health care, fourth for economic environment and seventh for overall quality of life.

Montana finished second on the list of best states for veterans, followed by South Dakota, Maine and Florida. Indiana was the ranked as the worst state for retired military personnel, followed by Rhode Island, the District of Columbia, Utah, New York and New Jersey.
