The Wyoming Cowgirls have advance to the third round of the Women's NIT with a 75-71 win over Oklahoma State Tuesday night at the AA in Laramie. The Cowgirls watched a big first half lead evaporate, then rallied in the second half to regain the lead and hold on.

Aubrey Vandiver with a outstanding game for the Cowgirls with 27 points and 10 rebounds. In addition to Vandiver, Hillary Carlson had 19 points, Chaundra Sewell with 10 points and 9 rebounds and Bec Campigli with 10. Tiffany Bias led Oklahoma with 17 points. Oklahoma State finished the season at 17-15. The Wyoming Cowgirls will now face another Big 12 team in Colorado Thursday night at 7:00 at the AA. Again that game will be on AM 1400 ESPN with the pregame show at 6:30 pm. Colorado (17-15) defeated California Tuesday night. If the Cowgirls advance to the quartefinals next week, there's a possibility they could face Mountain West Conference rival BYU who has a couple of wins in the WNIT.
