College football fans across the country are getting excited for training camps to get underway and for the season openers on Labor Day Weekend.  With the beginning of the season just around the corner, I thought it would interesting to take a look back at some the Head Coaches over the past 30 years at UW and see if we could find out - Where Are They Now?

Craig Bohl - Current head coach of the UW Football program is leading into his 3rd year as the helm for the Cowboys.  In his 2 year tenure, Coach Bohl is 6-18 overall and 4-12 in Mountain West Conference play.  Of course everyone has high hopes for the Cowboys this season, after coming off a 2-10 season a year ago.

Dave Christensen - Went 27-35 overall and 16-23 in MWC play.  Christensen was let go by the Cowboys following a drama filled 2013 season that was highlighted by a highly publicized spat with Troy Calhoun, head coach of the Air Force Falcons.  Coach Christensen is currently in Texas as the Offensive Line / Running Game Coach for Texas A&M University.

Joe Glenn - The charismatic leader of the Pokes both on and off the field went 30-41 overall and 15-31 in MWC play.  Joe was let go following the 2008 season when the UW faithful wanted more out of the program after going 1-8 in the conference.  Coach Glenn went on to coach at the University of South Dakota where he retired following the 2015 season.

Vic Koenning - Coached the Pokes for 3 years 2000-2002 and went 5-29 overall and 1-21 in conference play at the helm for the Pokes.  Coach Koenning is currently in Alabama and is the Defensive Coordinator and Safeties Coach at Troy University.

Dana Dimel - Coached the Cowboys for 3 years as well, from 1997-1999 with an overall record of 22-13 and 14-9 in conference.  Left the UW football program to coach the University of Houston Cougars.  Currently Coach Dimel is the Co-Offensive Coordinator and Running Backs coach for Kansas State University.

Joe Tiller - The University of Wyoming's most successful coach over the past 30 years led the Cowboys to 2 conference championships during his tenure from 1991-1996.  Coach Tiller went 39-30-1 overall as the leader of the Pokes program and 26-22-1 in conference.  Joe left UW following the 1996 season to take over the program at Purdue University.  He retired following the 2008 football season with the Boilermakers and is now residing in Buffalo, Wyoming.

Paul Roach - Pulled double duty as Head Coach and Athletic Director for the University of Wyoming from 1987-1990, when he hired Joe Tiller to take over the head coaching duties and focused AD Duties. Coach Roach led the Cowboys to two straight undefeated conference titles in 87-88. His overall record was 35-15 as head coach for the Cowboys and was a two time finalist for the National College Football Coach of the Year award.
