Wyoming High School Boys Basketball 4A/3A Regional Tournaments 2015

March Madness is now in full force!

4A East at Sheridan:

#1 Sheridan and #2 Gillette each receive a first round bye, and have both qualified for the state tournament.

To break the 3-way tie between East, Central, and Laramie, first check record vs. highest team in the conference not involved in the tie. Laramie loses and drops to the #5 seed, because the Plainsmen don’t have a win vs. Sheridan, whereas East and Central do. East then gets the #3 seed over Central, because the Thunderbirds have a better record vs. non-conference opponents. East has wins vs. Kelly Walsh, Evanston and Scottsbluff, NE, and Central doesn’t.

Thursday, March 5:

#4 Cheyenne Central 50 #5 Laramie 47 - Laramie Eliminated. Central qualifies for the state tournament.

#3 Cheyenne East 53 #6 Cheyenne South 46 - South Eliminated. East qualifies for the state tournament.

Friday, March 6:

#2 Gillette 69 East 42

#1 Sheridan 46 Central 43

Saturday, March 7:

East 53 Central 39 - 3rd Place

Gillette 66 Sheridan 64 - Championship

4A West at Evanston:

#1 Kelly Walsh and #2 Natrona each receive a first round bye and both have qualified for the state tournament.

Checking record vs. highest team in the conference not involved in the tie, Evanston gets the #3 seed over Riverton, because the Red Devils have a win vs. Kelly Walsh, and the Wolverines don’t.

Thursday, March 5:

#4 Riverton 62 #5 Rock Springs 59 - Rock Springs Eliminated. Riverton qualifies for the state tournament.

#3 Evanston 66 #6 Green River 45 - Green River Eliminated. Evanston qualifies for the state tournament.

Friday, March 6:
