Heading into the final weekend of the regular season, there's a little time left for teams ranked in the coaches/media rankings to prove they should be ranked higher, and for unranked teams to prove that they deserve consideration.

Before this week started, unanimous #1 Laramie had already secured the East #1 seed for the upcoming regional tournament that they will host. A similar story for #2 Kelly Walsh in the West, although cross-town rival Natrona will host the West Regional Tournament. After that it's hard to tell. Thunder Basin moves up to #3, but the votes had been cast before the word spread that #5 Campbell County had won back on Tuesday. If the Lady Camels can win Friday at unranked Sheridan, they could swipe the #2 East seed away from #4 Cheyenne East.

There's not much change in the latest 3A rankings, and most of the seeds for the regional tournaments are set. #1 Rawlins, #2 Douglas, and #3 Lyman have things locked up. #4 Cody is almost set in the northwest. They Fillies bump Star Valley down to #5 this week.

There's been a shift in the 2A rankings, in particular, in the southeast. Northeast teams Sundance and Wright occupy the top 2 rankings. Pine Bluffs moves up to #3 after their big win vs. #4 Southeast, who lost twice last week. After that, Big Piney holds at #5, and is still the lone team in the west that is ranked.

Things are pretty much set in 1A, and the southwest continues to dominate. Cokeville holds at #1, while Little Snake River moves up to #2, after their big win last week at Encampment, who slips to #3. The Lady Tigers have a big challenge to close the regular season this weekend at Cokeville. Lingle-Ft. Laramie stays put at #4, while Farson-Eden and Burlington share the #5 ranking.
