Although teams played many matches in various tournament/invitationals, it's the upcoming conference games that could have a big impact on the coaches/media rankings.

Cheyenne East has the 4A #1 ranking back all to themselves. The Lady Thunderbirds head to Arizona this weekend to compete at the Nike Tournament of Champions against some good out of state competition. Kelly Walsh moves up to #2 after their performance at last week's Casper Invitational. The Lady Trojans will play in Nebraska this weekend. Laramie and Gillette slip a spot down to #3 and #4 respectively, while Natrona holds their spot at #5.

3A teams are settling into conference business, and there are a few good games on this weekend's schedule. Star Valley is the unanimous 1, followed by Buffalo, Douglas, and Worland. Cody has to share the #5 ranking with Mountain View, who has a big game Friday at home vs. SV. The other big game featuring ranked team vs. ranked team has #4 Worland visiting #2 Buffalo on Saturday.

2A saw a little bit of a shakeup thanks to an upset in the northwest. Wright as usual is the unanimous #1. Sundance moves to #2, and better be ready for Thursday, because the 2-time defending champs will be in town. Southeast is now at #3. Greybull was the team that pulled off the upset and are in the ranking at #4. Lovell was the victim of the upset and drop from #2 to #5.

For the second week in the row, all of the ranked team come from the south. Undefeated Encampment is still the unanimous #1, and 1 loss Lingle-Ft. Laramie is the unanimous #2. Farson-Eden and Little Snake River switch spots at #3 and #4 this week, with the Lady Pronghorns taking the higher spot. H.E.M. stays put at #5.
