High school wrestling teams throughout Wyoming will head for their regional tournaments this Friday and Saturday. Wrestlers will be vying to qualify for the state wrestling tournament in Casper Friday and Saturday February 25-26.

The top eight in each weight class at each tournament will head for state. Each of the three classes of wrestling in Wyomng  have two regional tourneys. Here's the breakdown of the regionals.

4A East at Cheyenne East: Teams: Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Gillette, Kelly Walsh, Laramie and Sheridan

4A West at Green River: Teams: Evanston, Green River, Natrona, Riverton, Rock Springs and Star Valley

3A East at Glenrock: Teams:  Buffalo, Cheyenne South, Douglas, Glenrock, Newcastle, Rawlins, Thermop, Torrington and Wheatland

3A West at Powell: Teams:  Cody, Jackson, Lander, Lyman, Mountain View, Pinedale, Powell and Worland

2A East at Upton: Teams:  Burns-Pine Bluffs, Hulett, Lingle, Lusk, Midwest-Kaycee, Moorcroft, Southeast, Sundance, Upton and Wright

2A West at Cokeville: Teams:  Big Piney, Cokeville, Dubois, Greybull/Riverside, Hanna, Kemmerer, Lovell, Rocky Mountain, Saratoga, Shoshoni and Wind River

State Wrestling for all three class will be at the Casper Events Center Friday and Saturday February 25-26. Defending state champions are Gillette, Douglas and Greybull/Riverside.
