Natrona Loses in 4A Semi-Final

The Natrona County Mustangs were denied a return trip to the 4A state championship as they were defeated by Sheridan 35-10 on Friday night. Sheridan quarterback Blake Godwin ran 75 yards for a touchdown on the first play from scrimmage and the Broncs never looked back. Zach Campbell and Riley Sessions followed with touchdowns as NC found themselves in a deep hole. The only Mustang touchdown in the game was scored by quarterback Matt Benardis. Natrona finishes the season at 8-3. Sheridan will play Gillette for the 4A championship on Saturday at War Memorial Stadium in Laramie.
