UNDATED (AP) — The defending NBA champion San Antonio Spurs and the Chicago Bulls -- both sporting identical 27-16 records -- meet tonight at United Center in Chicago. The Spurs, currently in fourth place in the tough Southwest Division, are coming off a 109-99 win over Denver on Tuesday night.
That's one of four NBA games tonight, and the other three all involve teams playing the second half of a back-to-back scheduling challenge.
The Utah Jazz, who lost 106-92 at Cleveland last night, continue their road trip at 21-20 Milwaukee. The Portland Trail Blazers, who hold a whopping eight-and a-half-game lead over Oklahoma City in the Northwest Division, are home against Boston after their 118-113 loss in Phoenix last night. And the Brooklyn Nets continue their West Coast swing with a game against the L.A. Clippers. Last night the Nets defeated the Sacramento Kings 103-100 for only their second win in the last 10.
