NC’s Skavdahl Repeats as State Golf Champion

Natrona County High School golfer Caitlyn Skavdahl repeated as the 4A state champion, firing rounds of 76 and 72 at the Powder Horn Golf Club in Sheridan, Skavdahl has been dominate this season and won the individual state championship by 12 strokes over Jacque Perdue from Laramie. The Natrona girls team finished 2nd, 7 strokes behind Sheridan. Kelly Walsh took 5th. On the boys side, Easton Paxton of Riverton was the runaway winner with rounds of 63 and 68 at the Powder Horn. Paxton is a 3 time state champion and Riverton won the team championship by 36 strokes over Cheyenne Central. Kelly Walsh took 3rd and Natrona 4th.
