NWCC Advances to Final Four

Northwest College from Powell advanced to the Final Four of the National Junior College Volleyball tournament at the Casper Events Center as they upset the top seed, Iowa Western in 5 sets late Thursday night. The win will put the Trappers in the semi-final round Friday night at 6:30 to take on Miami-Dade. Powell is 29-8 on the year and Miami will come in at 29-3. The other semi-final will feature the defending champion of the tournament, Blinn College from Texas meeting Southern Idaho. Blinn is 38-1 on the year and CSI is 34-2. The national championship match will be Saturday at 6:30 at the Events Center.
