The State High School Rodeo Championships concluded Saturday with the top 4 finishers in each event qualifying for the National high School Finals Rodeo that will be in Rock Springs in July. Here's the list of the individual state champions. For the Boys, Mike Burtenshaw of Buffalo wins the saddle bronc, Buck Butterfield from Worland took 1st in the Bull riding, Brian Brown of LaBarge won the bareback, Taylor Davidson was the state champion in the steer wrestling. The tie roping champion was Jhett Hadley from Wheatland. Kellen Johnson and Jayden Johnson took 1st in the team roping. For the girls, Gillette's Ashley Graber was the state champ in the pole bending. Quincy Segelke from Snyder, Colorado won the goat tying. Sierra Lyons from Lander took first in the barrel racing. Kate Dickinson from Rock Springs became the state champion in the breakaway roping with a 9.91 on 3
