T-Birds Sweep Western Wyoming

The Casper College basketball teams earned victories on Tuesday night at the Erickson Gym, knocking off Western Wyoming from Rock Springs. The women's game was one sided with the Birds winning that 85-60, thanks to 14 points from Gabby Johnson and 13 from Brianna Troop. The T-Birds have won their last 6 in a row and are 14-5 overall.

The T-Bird men pulled away in the 2nd half to beat Western Wyoming 66-55. Shon Briggs was a powerhouse in the inside with 18 points on 8-13 shooting from the field. Hakeem Rogers was the only other C.C. player in double figures with 13. The Birds are now 15-4 overall and both Casper College teams will be in Powell on Saturday to meet Northwest College.
