Former Wyoming Cowboy quarterback Brett Smith is out of football for the time being after being released from the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadien Football League. Smith left Wyoming a year early to join the NFL draft and wasn't drafted at all. He ended up signing a free agent contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but didn't last 3 days. He was picked up by Toronto to be a practice player but was dropped last week. In 3 years at Wyoming Smith accumulated over 10,000 yards of total offense with 76 touchdown passes and 20 rushing touchdowns.
