Coyotes Start Season on Friday

The Casper Coyotes junior hockey team will debut on Friday night at the Casper Ice Arena as they will host the Colorado Roughriders to begin a 3 game series. The Coyoyes play in the Western States Hockey League and the is comprised of players between 17-22 years of age who are looking to move up the hockey ladder, either to college or the minor leagues. This is Casper's 2nd go-round with junior hockey as the Central Wyoming Outlaws were a fixture at the Ice Arena in the 1990's. Fridays game and Saturdays game will begin at 8pm with Sundays matinee contest beginning at 11:45am.
