The Casper Coyotes junior hockey team went 2-1 on their weekend road trip to Missoula, Montana. On Friday, The Coyotes handed Missoula their first home loss of the year with a 4-2 win. Scoring machine Viktor Thim had a goal and the Yotes sealed the deal with an empty net goal in the 3rd period. On Saturday, Casper lost 4-3 to the Maulers with Missoula scoring with just over 4 minutes to go in the 3rd period to take the lead for good. The series wrapped up on Sunday with the Coyotes posting a 7-3 win over Missoula thanks to 2 goals from Thim and 2 from Tim Friberg. The Coyotes are 18-6 on the year and will host the Colorado Eagles in a 3 game series starting on Thursday through Saturday at the Casper Events Center.
