T-Birds Gear Up for Region IX Tournaments

The Casper College basketball teams enter their 2nd season this week with their respective Region IX tournaments. The men's tourney actually started out Saturday with 1st round games at campus sites and the T-Birds crushed Little Big Horn on Saturday 130-84. So Casper up their record to 23-8 on the year and will play Western Nebraska in the 2nd round on Thursday in Otero. The T-Bird women will be the 2nd seed from the North and will take on Lamar, the 7th seed from the South on Tuesday at 3pm in Gillette. The Lady T-Birds are ranked 15th in the country with a record of 26-4.
