T-Birds Sweep Gillette

The Casper College basketball teams posted impressive wins over Gillette College on Wednesday night. The T-Bird men upset #4 Gillette 94-89 thanks to 28 points from LJ Westbrook and 17 from Gerad Davis. Gillette who came into the game with a record of 24-0 received a monster game from Kavel Bigby-Williams who threw in 35 points and 21 rebounds. the T-Bird men are 17-7 overall and now tied with Gillette for first place in the Region IX north. On the ladies side, Casper College defeated Gillette 77-69 with Monika Radomska leading the way with 20. The T-Birds are 22-2 overall and 9-0 in the Region IX North. Both C.C. teams will host Western Wyoming at the Erickson Gym on Saturday afternoon.
