The Casper College basketball teams made 2 for 2 over Miles City at the Erickson Gym on Wednesday night with huge wins to set up huge games at Gillette on Saturday. The 12th ranked Lady T-Birds improved to 26-2 as the downed the Pioneers 79-62. Casper led 23-4 after the end of the first quarter and never looked back. The Birds led in scoring by Gabby Johnson with 23 points. The win sets up the defacto Region IX north championship game on Saturday at Gillette. If Casper wins, they'll host the Region IX tournament in 2 weeks. The Casper College men are 10-1 in conference play and 21-7 overall after mauling Miles City 108-71. Gerad Davis led the T-Birds with 24 as Casper had  5 guys in double figures. The T-Birds go to Gillette on Saturday with a #1 seed on the line for the Region IX tournament.
